My passion for Jordan started way back in the summer of 1992,i was with my mother and grandmother on vacation in Rosas (spain) not really far from Barcalona where the 1992 Olympics where held! I played alot of basketball at school but i didn't know much about the NBA back...i knew the teams and most famous players but that was it! At a moment on our vacation i stepped into a magazineshop and saw a spanish magazine with a picture of jordan dunking....i didn't understand a word of what the magazine was writing but i like the picture so much i bought it anyways...from the start i was a fan of jordan! just because of seeing that picture! so much style and grace i knew from the start that would be the player i was goiing to be a fan of! After our vacation we went back home and not much later i got my first pair of Air Jordans from my mother for the new start of the new schoolyear! It was a Jordan VII Black/True Red! I really wish i held on that pair! back then,i was 12 years old,i didn't really 'collect' sneakers...i just liked them!
The Sneaker collecting started in 1996 with a pair of XII's...from then on i started to keep the shoes i bought! even when the where worn out! now i don't wear my new J's i buy btw...
At the start i really collected everything i could get my hands on goiing from shoes,clothing to cards,posters,magazines...name it and i looked for it! Now days i only collect shoes and clothing!
I saw Jordan play 3 times,2 times as a chicago bull and 1 time as a wizard! years 1995,1996,2003...2 times in chicago against the magic and 1 time in miami against the heat!
In miami i was close to courtside...the closest i ever got the MJ,it was one of his last games as a player and that year he only dunked like 3-4 times and i saw 1 of them! a fastbreak in your face dunk over Travis Best...he had 21 ptns and 10 rebounds to go with 4 assists! Moments that will be memories for ever! This is a short story of my #23 passion...23 for life cause it's my life! "
